It's all about perspective and perception.
all in all, this image worked out great, beautifull colors, framing, and incredible sharp, each detail is visable, i specialy like the high detailed wings.

Maybe he was in a fencing match LOL. Regardless of how he lost one, he's still quite handsome and you've presented this very well with clarity and complementing colors between the grasshopper and the leaves.
