Perfect description Terry and how very true. You've certainly captured it in majestic form here. The clarity, composition, and terrific colors are just amazing. So well done and it's def a keeper. Thanks for this one.

What a lovely golden glow you're having up there.. maybe it will reach us soon. The composition you've seen and given to us is most delightful and I am enamoured of the leaf-strewn dirt road. The two nearly opposing trees are unique and offer us a natural archway into the rest of the vista ahead. This is so close to what I'm used to seeing in fall vistas in my area..only we'd have to add some reds and oranges and gold too to make this a complete fairyland, but it's the best I've seen so far. Your clarity showcases this beauty and the DOF is enhanced by the placement of your elements and the gently curving road as it disappears from our view. I find nothing distracting here, and your complimentary framing is also vital as to how well this works. Nice job :)PJ

What I love about this site and the people are the friendship and creativity. What a beautiful thought, every leaf a flower. So simple, yet I have never heard that expression before. Well done, Terry. The image does it more than justice. Kudos!!!

Lovely golden autumn. How can anyone not feel blessed with the changing beauty of the seasons to look upon? I like the perspective on this shot and I also like the framing very much. It seems integral to the image since the view continues beyond its border.
Really nice comp, Terry.

Perfect Autumn photograph Terry. Well done! The colors are divine with yellow, red, and bits of green refusing to succumb to the change. The little path is very inviting. I also like the Albert Camus quote, it suits your photo perfectly.

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand. ~Margery Williams The Velveteen Rabbit~

great fall shot, I love the colors too. I think it would be better without the framing , could you resubmit it without? please.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

I love the way you can still see the path between the trees on the left side, making me wonder where it goes.
Great composition, but I don't think the color of the border matches the photo. maybe a bit darker?
Great shot.
Cheers!
