Delicious autumn!  My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.  ~George Eliot

Awesome sight Terry. So tell me, how do you all know when the colors have peaked? I love this one with all the different fall colors as well as a lot of green yet. Lovely composition, clarity and color. Outstanding post and so glad you shared it.

an effective composition with the two main trees splitting things vertically
and the posts and path doing that job horizontally
the colour pallette is fab and the image highly contrasty (possibly a touch over exposed but not much)

well done

This is so pretty, Terry. From the composition on down, it's lovely. I'm enjoying those green posts as small verticals as well. Very well done!

The tall verticals draw your eyes to the brightly colored tree tops and the fence adds another touch of color that is highly complementary to the orange of the leaves. I'm thinking this weekend will the best show of color around here. This is lovely, Terry. Thank you.

Right from the gallery to here ... your picture drew me like a magnet. Love the softnes of the color in this and those posts which can't be seen all that well in the gallery thumbnail really are an asset here I think. Nice posting.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Good name for the composition. That is esactly what it is, a color palette. Beautiful array of soft autum colors. I really like this.

My sentiments also Terry. The colors here are so beautiful. Ours are just starting and I can't wait to see reds, oranges and browns everywhere I look. Thanks for an early peek.
