The one red leaf, the last of its clan, That dances as often as dance it can, Hanging so light, and hanging so high, On the topmost twig that looks up at the sky.”
~ Samuel Taylor Coleridge
A beautiful clear and crisp view. Can almost feel the chill in the air Terry. An excellent post with wonderful composition. Outstanding. Thanks for sharing it.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
I am constantly amazed at how you come up with the perfect quote for the perfect shot! This is marvelously done. I love the way you have framed this perfect leaf. How do you do that rainbow thing?
All of earth is crammed with heaven And every bush aflame with God But only those who see take off their shoes. - Elizabeth Barrett Browning<p>

A beautiful DT, Terry! Perfect leaf, terrificly coordinated framing, great clarity. The poem couldn't be more perfect and I am so glad you include them with some of your posts.
This could be used as a 'loin' patch! for those shy nudist!..its big enough to hide a great deal!....Lovely warm colour Terry..and the clarity you caught it at, is lovely..also the framing and presentation is great!
Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.

Excellent choice of poetry and a pretty good shot too. I very much like the defiantly green little speckles on the otherwise smooth red of the leaf; what a great combination of colours.
