It is said that the cross that Christ was crucified on was a Dogwood. It was a tall and mighty tree to rivel any tree. But after being used for such an event. It was never the same. The flowers of the Dogwood represent the crucifixion of Christ. The flower is in the shape of the cross and red on the tips. Are the blood Christ shed on the cross for us.
