He's not really pink, but when I saw this trout just staying in one spot, I had to try and photograph him. However, when I got home and looked at my image, I could hardly see him in the brown merky water. Then I started to play about with colours, and hey presto when I tinted it with pink, he showed up brilliantly! Hence Pink Trout!! I know this isnt a brilliant capture, but I was fascinated on how using a tint make him stand out more. Perhaps someone may know the reason why this is - I'd love to know!

Ann, it's like the trout is illuminated by an UV lamp now. Think that the simulated UV (pink) spectrum contains some elements to make it better visible. Very original image!
