This is actually rev 2 of this shot - I noticed a flaw in the first and just had to correct it.
Love the steam engines. This was taken at the Strasburg Railroad in the heart of Lancaster County PA.
bloody awesome
has a really aged feel to it
is this a modern photo 'shopped?
actually it also has a weird model railway OO guage feel to it ... lol
very very nice atmosphere and the _lines_ really lend themselves to the high aspect ratio panorama format you chose
super sepia colour
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
This is completely wonderful. There's so much to look at and it all has so much character. The composition and the choice of sepia are perfect. Just fantastic!!!
Wow... You know, if I didn't know better, I'd say those were models... The difference in focus is too sharp. But, this immediately caught my eye and I had to comment.... Such a warm vintage feel to this... I could almost say "brings back memories"... :)
Something about this makes it look like a minature. Its really neat. The Sepia works really well for this one, and you did a good job in the conversion. Alot of times changing to sepia doesn't look good.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Magnificent capture! And as everyone else stated, it has great warmth in the sepia. The framing is perfect as well. Straight to my favs it goes. Very well done!

this almost looks like a model train set. the perspective and compostion are impeccable. your thick borders further enhance the long range here. very well done.
