The detail in the bird and the colours are a 100% I like how it seem to be looking for a landing place to it make the shot interesting. But it would have been even better if it was low down in the shot instead of at the top.

It's a nice shot. The wingtip exiting the upper border is a significant distraction. It may not have been cut off prior to adding the border/frame, but it's still a bit too close, regardless.
Always better to have a bit of extra in the frame, as it's easier to crop than adding to the background with cloning.
If you study the image and look at the other wing, it easily allows you to scan to the left side where your eye is automatically led right out of the picture by the other wing tip.
