"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I've never really understood why people don't like seagulls. Yes, they eat some gnarly-looking things, hang out at the water a lot, yell at each other a lot, stare at others, and often have an air about them like they don't care about much other than themselves. But many people are like that, too. Seems to me they are pretty smart, fending for themselves in all they go through in the harsh elements. When I see an old one, I can't help but have some respect. Anyway, you captured them doing what I wish I could be doing any ole time I want.. sitting on a rock by the edge of the sea, and enjoying life. It's a nice shot, and one that makes me yearn to be seaside even more so! cheers, Quiet
