I'm really looking forward to seeing them again. Tom the composition is very good, as is the coloring and detail. That is an Eastern Swallowtail, and really makes me smile, as I sit here and think of their return.

We used to call these Tiger Swallowtails; so I looked it up on the Internet and found out that it's an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. The detail on this shot is remarkable. Love the colors.

Tom, in my imagination I can smell the fragrance of the Buddleia.
Must be an irresistible fragrance for any butterfly too, with the result that you could provide us with a wonderful Swallowtail macro!
