Waver is a Xaos fractal, stitched in Photoshop (otherwise it would have been too small) and given colours via layers. It's one of those images I waver over - sometimes I think it's got rather flat colours, and I don't like that stretching centre - and other times I think it's OK as a desktop! Finally it wore me down and clambered aboard the Caedes wagon.

I like it. It is quite simple, but the colours are wonderfully light and airy. It is a nice relaxing desktop, I think, and would make a nice contrast with some of the "busier", brighter and/or louder desktops on Caedes. I like to have both, so I think you did well with this.

I also think it's just fine. Cheerful and no, not flat. Nothing wrong with that center, either. It makes a very nice desktop.

Cool Op art. The colors are cool. I though at first that this was done with a displacement map, because of the lines at the bottom left. Great job. :)

You're not wrong, it was skewed, twisted or warped or something in Photoshop. :-).

Hi Tootles, I saw this in the VB earlier and gave it a straight 10. I think it's smashing!! Works surprisingly well as a desktopper. It would be an absolute showstopper screenprinted onto silk and made into an evening gown.
