Out for a stroll along the beach, the sunrise behind him was making him glow. It seems as though he and I were the only ones up this early :)

Beautiful bird Josh and nice movement. I seems there is some missing pixel information in the gravel...sort of a grey cast? Very peacefull:-)

Thank you for the comments guys. I'm pretty sure that the grey cast you speak of is just water surrounding the shells Darryl. I could be wrong but I have some other shots of the same spot and they all look pretty much the same :)

I love the reflection of this beauty of a bird in the water! Great capture Josh. I can watch these kind of birds all day & never tire of them. You caught him with the ripples behind where his feet were just moments before...thank you for bringing him to my desktop!

He almost has a look of determination on his face...as if it's hard work to move through knee-high water. The pinkish glow of his reflection is really a very nice touch. This was a shot worth getting up for. Great work, Josh. :-)
