When I walked through this abandoned railroad tunnel in Washington, CT I half-expected to encounter this... I used a photo I took of Engine 103 from Essex, (End of the Line). This tunnel curves around and the inside wall near the middle is in complete darkness. There is an ice formation there for much of the year. Can you see the light from the other end on the wall outside the curve?

Good manipulation Josh. You made that tunnel seem very active! Creative mind you have there! The moss on the rocks adds color to what otherwise might be a bit of a dull image. Is the light you are referring to the yellowish arc that is behind the train? Good work & thank you.

Nah, the yellow arc is just light from the train. The light from the other end of the tunnel can be seen if you look through the bottom half of the train (since the train is partially transparent). Thank you for the nice comment :)

That is cool and scary lookin at the same time Josh. I think you should dress this one up some more. Maybe some fog in the foreground to mask the dirt and leaves. I love these manipulations. This would make a cool animation also as the train comes around the corner and ghosts right through the screen. Great job and thank for stirring the noodles I call my brain:-)

Awesome! What is and what was. The noise inside these old long narrow tunnels must have been deafening.

I like how the train is sort of surrounded by light.. it makes it look real. That tunnel would be fun to explore *-) Great image :)

I thought that was the Tunnel at Steep Rock. That tunnel freaks me out, but I'm afraid of the dark.

Great shot, and great use of putting a ghost train in it. As the person standing on the outside of that tunnel, if someone comes running through it, you can't see them and it's an eerie feeling.

wonderful manipulation, I would like a picture of just the tunnel but the train is inspired.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
