Ok it's no secret I'm obsessed with sunsets, silhouettes, and reflections as well. I'm going to say this is about the best combination of all three I've ever seen. Hope you enjoy the photo :)
This one..ohmy...GOSH! Out of the three Josh, this one takes the cake. You need to stop with all these breathtaking sunsets. Ok no..don't stop, they're beautiful :o) This one is my absolute favorite of all your sunset shots. Shall I list the reasons? The colors in the sky, the ripples in the water, the silhouette of the land along the horizon accented by a few sparkling lights here and there. Fantastic, wonderful..and every other positive adj. in the dictionary ;o)
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
Shooting purdy colors in the land of purdy colors is no challenge. Go to Hoboken, or Pacioma, or Dead Man's Gulch (i figure there has to be a DMG out there somewhere).
All kidding aside, I've really enjoyed this series ... (:o)

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
It was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, as Tiny Tim observed, "God Bless Us, Every One!

Dr. Evil: You're not quite evil enough. You're semi-evil. You're quasi-evil. You're the margarine of evil. You're the Diet Coke of evil, just one calorie, not evil enough.
You're right, the colors are great, both in the sky and the water, and the foreground silhouettes add just the right note of contrast and depth. Good one!
This is really lovely, Josh. I agree with your love of sunsets, silhouettes, and reflections. I can't get enough of them. About a year ago I decided to start working on reflections, and it's easy to get carried away with them, isn't it?
Yep Josh, this one is different. I have looked at so many sunsets all very simular in composition. Yours stood out because of the water ripples and the wooden poles.
Good composition.
The colors in this picture are amazing, I love the way it looks with the little bit of wake coming in off of the water, combined with the colors in the sky and the simple dock posts just to show a stable spot in time.
