I saw this in the Voting Booth and gave it high marks. This is many things....texture study, composition study, a look at a way of living that many of us do not know, an example of a limited palette...I probably could go on! Oddly, to me what holds this shot together is the pale turquoise of the trash can (water barrel?) repeated in the house number and the painted frame around the window, as well as the juncture of phone (?) lines in the upper left. I suppose a lens that would support a wider angle would keep the verticals more straight, but that telephone pole is leaning anyway! This is a great shot, thanks!
