Everybody tells me to focus on the eyes and I wasn't really quite sure how to do that...how does this work?? lol The title comes from a song called: Absolutely (Story Of A Girl) by Nine Days =)

Neat effects on this shot TG. Looks like you are holding a magical staff emiting its rays of hope. Nice work.

I like the effects also but if you had a little more light on the eye and a tighter focus there, it would pull your attention to the eye and the center of your shot.I had someone give me good advice once. Since I like taking wildlife photos the eyes of your subject are very important. With wildlife you can't always get the best lighting for catching the gleam and reflection in the eyes. When you don't and the eyes are dull and dark it makes your subjects head look hollow. So lighting on the eyes is very important. Hope this helps a little.

More focus and light on the eyes would be best. The idea is to make the eyes pop. If you're editing the photo, you might try whitening the eyeball, a nd making the pupil more distinctive. Besides that, the shot is good, it's a very good angle.

Yes, I agree with all the above. Nice focus on the eyes would be so good, and maybe softening the area around the face a bit more. Use a soft blur. I think you could lose the leaves at the top...or just have them barely peeking in..but over all this is a very interesting creation. Verena
