You do have very intense eyes.
With your particular skin tone I would suggest a bit softer light, and with your face shape, possibly a pic without the hat, with your hair/bangs slightly parted over your forehead (don't know much about girl's hair styles.) I'm not insulting (HONEST!!) =-], you, just some suggestions on making a more flattering self portrait. A smile wouldn't hurt either.
But other than that, the angle is good, the clarity is great. And the pic does seem to catch some personality in it. Very nicely done! Keep it up!!
