This is an un-named stream that feeds into Deer Creek east of Chico, CA. It has been raining for a few days now so there is a large volume of water. The overcast skys really make the green moss stand out.
I like this image very much since you have managed to balance the over all light nicely while working with a long shutter speed. But I personnely dont like this much of smooth water since it looks too perfect to be water. Other than that this looks pretty good.
Well I have to agree with the previous comment about the water. In the image above it looks great. Here is the BIG but. Full size the water looks like it has been over worked in some program and this seems to over power the shot. Did you take other shots at different speeds and apertures? Overall how could you not like this shot. Gallery View
Maybe a little too much shampoo, but to me it still looks like a 10 coming down that stream!
Beautiful and it made me wish there was at least one single waterfall in Holland where I live...
Exceptional image, the water seems like a light fog dancing over the rocks. The clarity is awesom here and much detail. Great overall scene here, lovely. In my fav's for sure.

No Sig, Just, I want to say "Thank You" to all of the talented photographers for giving me the most beautiful desktops and screensavers I could ever imagine. The artistry here is breathtaking.
What a magnificent shot. I really do like it. I'm still trying to figure out how to make a good water shot like this. I'm having trouble when I take the picture at a low shutter speed and there is too much light in it. Maybe some words of advice?
