Usually you will see pictures of Mt.McKinley from either Talkeetna or from Wonder Lake. I've tried to get a different view, for example this one direcly from the "Highway" inside the Alaska Range. It's quite complicated to capture the mountain from this side, it's quite complicated all in all, since the mountain is normally clouded about 340 days a year. From this position Mt.McKinley is still 30 miles away! Most interesting, i think, are the mountains on the left side :)

Hello Valentin...This a very good shot of some very majestic mountains...this picture really scores with the three layers...foreground....middle and background very hard to catch the right light for them to stand out...Well done...All the best.....Mick.

a beautiful photograph that is given more justice when viewed at higher resolutions. I have cropped the black borders on my puter -but thats just my preference. The scale of the photograph is spectacular, capturing a very large area nicely.
