At the small beach near my home, on a cloudy day, came across this lovely cat. While taking photos of her, she seemed to not have a care in the world. She was very affectionate, hope to see her again.

Just some thoughts on the size of your upload here, if I may.
I am thinking.. that prior to uploading, your image was resized. Which might be the result of your camera's software (or otherwise) you are using. For example, some options exist for 'resizing for forum use'.
Maybe check to see if this is what happened?

Very nice shot, first and foremost. I like how you composed this one and it certainly elevates it from that of the usual 'pet'/'animal' images.
And..
Bigger would be better, so as to fully enjoy and appreciate your efforts from behind the lens.
Good good focus and clarity. Colours are nice and natural. Well controlled on the note of exposure, too.
An engaging shot of this laid-back four-legged friend (of sorts).
