There are six monasteries in Meteora, Greece,and last Easter we visited all six in one day. It was incredible, and exhausting. Lots of steps, but the beauty was well worth the effort. I kind of wish some of the incredibly talented and gifted photographers in Caedes would visit and give us their view.

I would say a talented Caedes photographer has already gifted us a terrific view of the monastery. A beautiful scene with great colours, lighting and depth Vicki.

I've seen a number of views of this place, here at Caedes and other places as well, and never tire of its unique character. The time it must have taken to create... an amazing spot and a good photograph of it.
Incidentally, I remembered the city my Greek fraternity brother was from--Thessaloniki. The tower there is distinctive.
