A few years ago,climbing Mt. Sinai on Christmas eve, starting at 2:30 a.m., yes with flashlights,we never expected when the sun rose on this amazing landscape that we would be surrounded by around 800 people from all over the world. This was a truly memorable experience. The sun provided an interesting contrast in this scene. Always appreciate comments. Thanks.

Hi Vicki. I have never been there but how wonderful for you to have made it there. The mountain at which the Ten Commandments were given to Moses by God. During your tour, did the guide indicate where they suspected this happened on Mt. Sinai? Now THAT would be a photo to take and treasure! Thanks for this one. What trip will you be making next?

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I can't hear the name Mt. Sinai without thinking of Moses and the ten commandments. I have been to Israel, but not to Egypt. I would love to go on a trip that included Egypt. Beautiful and very interesting shot, Vicki.

I knew that temperatures in Egypt are low at night, but never realised that it is so cold there ever.
