On the Greek island of Naxos, up in the mountains, we met with a friend who has goats and they make their own cheese. You can't get it fresher than this. Anthotyros is a traditional fresh cheese made with milk and whey from goats. Accompanied by ouzo of course. Simply unforgettable. Appreciate your views and comments.

I'm a cheesy person so would try this Instead of my usual Double Gloucester/Red Leicester....R.

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary in the Greek islands!...and visited this place, although didn't have this lovely cheese..we have plenty of the Ouzo though! ..lol

I like the cheese, Vicki, but ouzo is somewhat too strong to me. Prefer the Anthotyros with a good glass of wine.
