These rocks are from a beach in Kalamata, Greece. Nature gives us so much to treasure, just wanted to share them with you. Always appreciate comments and advice.
For billions of years water has flowed over these rocks to make them so smooth and round. A lovely image - especially the way you have arranged the rocks and with the sunlight at an angle on them.
Referring to Raj's comment above, these rocks may have the age of billion years, but to me you've created 'contemporary photography' with them, Vicki. A surprising and original composition, emphasized by the integration of the shadows in it.

I think this picture has most of the geometric figures contained within. Squares, trapezoid, triangles, circles, ovals, rectangles, and a box of stones to boot. A very creative piece, Vicki.
The rocks look so smooth and the comments above have mentioned how old they are. I love the shapes that are a result of time and water. I suspect the sand helped in the shaping as well. Looks simple, but really is quite complex Vicki.
I see that you used all natural elements in your image Vicki - the stones and the lovely pattern they formed - the play of light and shadows - Excellent Capture all around!!!!!!!!!
