The island of Syros in Greece is captivating. The best part for me was taking the local bus around the island, the drivers knew all the names of the residents, and they always wished the students well in taking final exams. The cuisine is amazing, the beaches are superb and it is very well suited for a relaxing vacation.

The way you describe your trip to Syros makes it sound so beautiful and your picture confirms it. I like the sun to your back as light makes it through to the walls providing areas of light and of shadow.
