Well, just looked up this photo and assumed it was taken here in Greece, but my note indicates Pompeii.... well that was a surprise. Do love the accent of the flowers on this simple scene. Makes all the difference. Thanks for your comments, I do appreciate them, and advice of course.

Is this the Pompeii buried by Mt. Vesuvius? I didn't realize they had any modern houses there, only the ruins from the past. I visited there once and that is all I remember. Very interesting place though.

Vicki, either Pompeii or a picturesque town in Greece, this doesn't matter that much because the chosen subject is universal. The red color of the wall flowers stands out, making it to a perfect image for the 'One color that stands out' contest.
