Our younger grandson (now 8 years of age) did this painting. Both parents are artists, and it looks like the two grandsons are taking after them, I think. Well, I may be biased, ha ha. Hope you like it. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Your grandson is an artist. I like this picture in that on one level it is a group of people of all sizes and on another level it is a small village. It speaks to community and well being, not bad, especially in this particular year. I wish both of your grandsons a lifetime of interest and joy in the arts. It is apparent that they have already begun the journey.

Vicki, we as 'Caedes spectators' aren't dealing with this 'problem', 😁 !
So we can give an unbiased opinion about the artistic achievements of your 8-year-young grandson: in my opinion, he has undeniable talent. My opinion is based on my artistic achievements at that age (as far as I can remember). Not to be proud of, 😜 !
I see structure and good compositional properties here, something that was completely lacking by me, which is why nothing of my 'artistic work' remains.
I agree with Tick that this could be a good contribution for the current contest.

Great talented grandson deserves some attention, Vicki. Continue to encourage him and he will do wonderfully. I know you are proud. I have my youngest daughter's art picture from about that age still on my refrigerator door. She will be 30 next year.
