I prefer to take sunsets over water where the reflection can be enjoyed.
The cypress trees presenting a wonderful scene on one of our southeast Louisiana lakes.
You sure accomplished it here Coleen . I like how you blocked a portion of the sun with the cypress trees. Beautiful colors and reflections. A great post.
Incredible clarity and color. Love those silhouetted cypress trees. The reflections and the soft ripples in the water are gorgeous! A wonderful capture! :)Ami
Hello Coleen....Love this picture....The colours, reflections and the silhouettes makes this image a pleasure to view....Well done Coleen.....All the best to you....Mick.
Beautiful picturesque lake for a sunset. Love the lines created by the cypress trees and the gentle movement in the water. Will have to come visit some of these swampy lakes soon. Wonderful work!
A wonderful array of colors and perfectly clear water. Beautiful sunset. Almost looks tropical if it weren't that those are cypress trees and not palm trees.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

You just won me totally over! Because I agree, sunsets need to be over water...here at the Pacific Coast, there is nothing like sitting as quietly the sun sinks beneath the horizon. The colours are so magnificent. I love this photo of yours, because I miss and love these beautiful trees standing in the water. Just so special. I am so glad you are here sharing with us these Louisiana photos. I lived in Marksville for quite a while, and then Shreveport//Bossier.
I loved the bayous, and more then anything the seafood!! V
