The little egret is known as the Snowy Egret. I had to travel by flatboat to the middle of a lake where there are floating islands to reach the rookery where these little egrets are nesting along with blue herons, tri-color herons and little blue herons.

Ahh, I remember when I was a lad and I would meet a lady who would make my hair stand on end. What a great capture Colleen. It almost has the look of Groucho Marx when he had that sly look and would make an aside. Great post.
