This was crafted with Vue d'Esprit 4 and fine tuned in Photoshop. I had a lot of fun making it. Hope you like it. Please take a closer look and a few seconds to vote.
Wen - I think the upshot (I could be mistaken) of that whole debacle was that anything non photographic would be OK so this fine piece would sit in there nicely.
Thanks, all! Phil, I took Randy's advise and sent a message to Caedes to clarify as to whether this met the criteria for the contest and he responded with a nod, stating that frogs drawn or modeled by the artist him or herself would probably be best, but that it would be OK to enter this in the contest, in accordance with the "anything non photographic" stipulation. With that, I changed the gallery of the image from Computer 3D to Current Contests. THANKS!

Great realism. I love the detail on the bobber. It really makes you wonder what the frogs are thinking of this artificial intrusion. The shadowing is excellent as well.
I like this alot...the frogs are excellent, and I really like the fishing bob. It's a cool touch. It seems like it'd be better to have the frogs and the bob in a different setting...like a creek. I don't know, I just have the image in my head! Nice job.
I like the idea you have here and I give you high marks...but you could do a LOT more with the frog textures. At least I think you can, I'm using a later version that my have better texture tools. To my taste the frogs look way to stiff and made of plastic. But you are on the right road...bravo, don't slak off, always strive for better textures.
LOL Eric I thought the same thing. I'm a little late with the comment since the contest is over.. but I love this one =) ..Am I the only one that doesn't know the winner? or has that not been annouced? lol sorry I'm slow
And i for one like this very much.
