(Main) abstract
I had to "play" with this design a bit more. Fiddled with it for a couple of hours last night in Apophysis and four another hour or so today. The first Dead Ends seemed a bit too "furry," while the second, while "cleaner," lost too much of its maze look. This one is kind of a cross between the two. I also experimented with different color gradients for quite a while...

I have to say this gets a 10 from me. I love the painterly feel of this work. The central cross shape is not dead centre, this makes it far more appealing to the eye. Overall the hues are subdued - yet with a rich vibrancy that really makes this piece stand out. Well worth all of the effort.

Great job! For an image that takes up everything and has so much going on, it doesn't seem too busy, I really like it, a lot of depth in some areas also. Nice choice of gradient also, nice work!

Apophysis is very difficult to work with you know, and this came out of it! Amazing work, none of the lines seem to be blurred from any editing work, great work, well deserved 10.
