A couple of people were uncomfortable with the large black circle in the original. So, I took this Apophysis image through some Photoshop manipulation to retain the black (it signifies death) but hopefully make it less distracting. Comments welcome.

I like this, very cool Manip Wen, but then I liked the original too. Great job as always!..=D

nice work with the shadows, it a great design, I love it.....It looks like the right and left are opposites....Mirror images......

I like them both, but I favor the original one a little more because the electric blue was such a striking contrast to the black circle. It gave the rendering a very ethereal feel. I was trying to imagine the orginal with a smaller black circle though.
