I think this must be the best computer oriented work of art I've ever seen!! I dont know how you do these, but this is just awesome Wendy!! Congrats on this!! I love the mountains and that sky! But the reflection of the boat in the water is just fantastic!!
Now this is a very cool render. You did an exellent job on this image. the colors, the mountians and skey. but the reflection is what did it for me. well done
Damn! Amazing job! So many downloads on its first day also! A record!? Looks amazing for sure, great job and I do suggest/ask for more of these in the future :D
Edit: Recieved a 10 from me in the voting booth, well deserved.
Well, gee whiz, THANKS all! I spent a number of days on this one and am thrilled to see that many of my favorite people here approve! You all made my day! Thanks again! Wen
Superior image, graphics and colors Wen!! Absolutely stunning! If I hadn't known better I'd have sworn I was looking at a beautiful photograph!! Most excellent, m'lady!!..=)
This is the most beautiful vue I've ever seen Wen. In fact, I think it is one of the most beautiful computer generated images I've ever seen period! This looks like a painting. It is stunning! Bravo! Vicky
I believe this is the most beautiful image created by computer I have ever seen. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, the magistic mountains, the calm water and the lovely sailboat. How inviting this is. Fantastic work from you. In my fav's and a 10/10 from me.
I will let everyone's raves speak to the respect for the art work and how it was graphically created. Obviously, this is a stellar piece of work....
...but....
As someone who has done a bit of sailing, I must confess that I am not so sure the skipper of this boat would have these sails up catching wind that close to and heading directly for the shore. If this craft was heading in the opposite direction it would be more true to life and instill hope for a voyage just beginning. As the luff in the main intimates, it appears as though the boat is going to run aground, unless the skipper immediately drops sail and cranks the engine below into reverse, actions that will take a lot of time without much water left before sand or rock hits the bottom..
Other than that, it's an incredibly remarkable piece.
I wish I could come up with some extraordinary superlatives that you haven't heard before....but sadly, I can't. Stunning work Wendy, just like an Impressionist painting ...and that reflection you did is amazing. Fantastic work !!
How did i miss this one.. wow Wendy this is gorgeous... you can feel the serenity of this image.. beautifully done, almost like a fine piece of painting.. wonderful
Exceptionally well done image. I thought it WAS a painting - would look lovely on someones wall. The trees to the left, are very sharp - look very real. The boat is perfect. Heck, this whole image is top quality..excellent job :>
Wendy,
I see this image has been around awhile but I have missed commenting on it. It came up on the front page and caught my attention. I wanted you to know how beautifully designed I thought this was. Excellent.
Pat
Wendy, I would love to be on that boat. You can feel a slight breeze going into the sails. I love the colors. It is a wonderful composition by the master. John
Very nice, you have a great scene going there. I do recomend you lower the boat in the water just a smidgen of a bit more as of now to me it looks to high. Also the sails, I would remove at least the jib sail and add a bit more light/transparency to the main. That way it dosen't look like its full speed ahead onto the beach and the sails don't look so thick. Good job
