"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Rich in colour, composition, contrast and lighting and detail.Even the sand has the appropriate ripples.simply elegant and another fine image, Wen..........
I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.
My goodness Wendy...I am flabbergasted at this image. I dont know how you do this, but its totally fantastic. The snow and the shadows are amazing...I love how you can work with these and come out with such beautiful stuff. I hope you are totally relaxed and not tense when you create them..Thank you so much...(by the way , how is your sister doing?) verena
This is an awesome piece of work Wendy - I wish you hadn't clipped the top of the moon though. The textures and composition are first rate - it's really a very inspiring image for me, maybe I'll give up on snow for awhile.
24 hours though - I'd be ecstatic over times like that. I've taken weeks on some pieces, although my G4 is a little old at six years :-]
