An image I've been developing for awhile that I thought was a fair example of the use of "negative space." I put the finishing touches on it this past week and decided to enter it into the "negative space" contest. Thanks for looking. Wen

It seems to me the best example for negative space in this contest. It leads us in space and more space and space... Who are those mystical men? Surely a winner.

Fits the 'negative space' theme perfectly. The depth of the corridor with the shadow play coming from the hidden passages give the image a sense of mystery. The people add to that including the subtle glow on the stone walls. Excellent work Wendy & best of luck.

Well, Wendy, the time has paid off well for you. Developing it has for sure been the key. THis is so unique, and fits the contest theme perfectly. All the best in that. Verena

Well, thanks much folks! Glad to see this project meets your approval. I've "fiddled" and "faddled" with it and, then when Les sent out messages reminding people of the contest, I decided to put it up. I really appreciate the nice feedback! Wen

An almost surrealistic, thought-provoking piece. There are myriad interpretations, I think. Due to a complicated relationship with my girlfriend I'm going to send it to her & get her response! It's now my wallpaper. Bravo, Wendy!

An excellent contest entry Wendy. Certainly ups the ante...

Not quite sure about the pastel colors (personal taste here), but I love the lighting on the sieds of each of the consecutive doorways which certainly draws the eye in.

Wendy, at what size can you render a picture like this? Is 1600x1200 the maximum or could you also make it 6000x4000?
I ask you because this is a great way to present a fashion portolio of the girls I find before my lenses lately.
