Interesting treatment you did here, a texture like the green one in the matrix. I can see very well the shape of the rose. A bit hard on the eyes for a wallpaper, but an image skillfully done.

This reminded my of a tapestry type texture, with a kaleidoscope twist to it. The deep, blood red colour of the rose is distinctive. However, I think I'd rather like looking at this in a portfolio selection of your work, rather than just as a dedicated desktop background.

I know im contradicting whats just been said, but in my opinion i think it would make a good desktop, but to be an image in a portfolio i think it would look better if it was more distinguishable as a rose.
