nice! i really like this. and i like the faulkner quote though i'm not sure where its from. are those church steeples representing clock hands? whatever the answer, this is going into my favs.

Terrific. I also really like this. Beautifully intricate, great theme and rather thought-provoking without being too overwhelming for regular desktop use. Great work, indeed. Personally, I'm not keen on the framing but that's just me. I really like the black-and-white colours you've used here.

I love to see a lump of sugar commit suicide in my teacup.
I'd like to see more of the "clock hands" part of the image. I like the translucent quality of the three main foreground images and that you put images in the background to show that translucency.

Cool, I love Gimp, but never really get to see other peoples work that much. This one is really... REALLY nice. I think I must have a thing for B+W. I guess it's becaus some people take advantage of colors and go over the fence with them. It's nice to just take them back and pull it in the basics. And what did I learn in all those college art classes, 'If you can make it work in B+W you have a good design in your hands'
