Once again this is Echo Lake on the first day of July 2004. It snowed about 4 inches up on Mount Evans the night before. I will be uploading more photos soon....it does feel good to be back on Caedes.net :)
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
You could make a mint in Postcard sales with this image, just stunning, It look's like a photograph that one would find on a calendar or something Great Job and 10/10 from me. Great eye 4 the the moment.
The contrast and detail and color is so vivid, it makes me feel like I can walk right into the image. Very 3-D. Glad you are back also Mike. Well done. Thanks :))
Beautiful shot... looks so clear and quiet... gives you the urge to yell "hellooooo" or as we aussies call "coooooooooooooEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" lol... love the shot.. onto my desktop
Absolutly stunning. For those who don't know there is a road to the top, it's said to be the highest paved road in the U.S. It gets a little bumpy above 10,000 feet, but thats OK, because I can't imagine how they built it in the first place. The parking lot at the summit is over 14,000 feet, they used to have oxygen there for those unused to the rarified atmosphere. but the building burned down a few years ago.

There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again. (groan)
