Not a great picture...just a great memory. I took this picture from the open observation promenade on the 110th floor of Two World Trade Center. The worker was near the top of One World Trade Center.
I remember visiting Ground Zero in the latter part of 2002...By then, it didn't look much different from when they were first building the WTC way back in the late 60s...Nice tribute, though...Faved...
Thank you for your kind comments. I saw the construction of the WTC. I grew up on Sullivan Street in SOHO...within walking distance. Windows On The World became a regular dining experience for me. Never could I have imagined that I would witness the abominable destruction along with the senseless loss of so many innocent lives. I look forward to the total retransformation of the site.
It's hard to believe that it's already 10 years ago, because it's still fresh in my mind. A great tribute for all those who didn't made it home again after that horrible day!
