This flower seemed so dainty and fragile and yet, was a hearty wildflower I saw in the higher elevations of Glacier National Park.

This is one of the most unusual flowers I have ever seen. It is absolutely amazing. You have done an excellent job of showcasing this beauty

You are displaying a lot of versatility with your photos Vanda.
You have a good eye. The main flower looks like it is sniffing the other to see if it is friend or foe.
Good post.

Such a pretty shot. Looks like a trumpet being played by the forest elves. :o)

This is another gorgeous shot, Vanda. Super colors, and I love the wet look. The background is perfect, too.

Another nice one! Not sure, but would that happen to be some form of columbine? Maybe someone here will know.

It is lovely and it is a type of columbine named Aquilegia - here we call them Granny's Bonnets.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
