My entry for "technology". this is a very old steam iron, one of the first to be runned by electric power (so I've been told.) Now it just sits there as a part of a window decoration on an old farm. the text "kun for vekselsstrøm" is danish and means "only for AC".

I am sure there are others for whom this old iron brough back memories. This was the cutting edge of technology when it replaced the old 'flat irons'
