Just a picture some clouds during a sunset. I thought that the way the sunlight illuminated the clouds was nice. Red sky at night sailors delight, red sky in the morn' sailors take warn.

It's not that it's a bad picture - it isn't - it's just that it's sort of generic. The colors are nice, but not really attention-grabbing. I recommend you download Photofiltre (it's free). Use that to mess with colors and whatnot. That's what I did with my image "Radical Sunset". The way it originally was it didn't get any comments and was eventually deleted. The way it is now it has quite a few comments and is in the perm gallery. Give it a shot.

If a picture is good enough for you to click on, it's good enough for you to vote on.

yes, as beautiful as it is. . .and dont get me wrong, its a nice shot, it just seems that there are alot of them. you have to make your's stand out from the pack. . .experiment and see what the masses like.

Believe me when I tell you I've seen thousands of sunsets and clouds..since I live by the Pacific Ocean..and my house faces west...so I have many that are "generic" too...and yes, if it were more flaming red or had some sort of great framing. I dont like to "mess with nature" especially sunsets, so sometimes I am better off just getting rid of one photo and trying to get a new angle on the sky or the clouds. Cloud formations are wonderful. Take a look at quentin_nice gallery...he has one particular one that is fantastic!! But dont give up ok? Keep trying something as sadoc says...."to make yours stand out from the pack"....it'll be fun trying...
