A much photographed location on the Oregon coast, the Heceta Head Lighthouse (in the distance) was built in 1892 and has one heck of a majestic view of the Pacific Ocean and of neighboring coves.
Still its a lovely capture and much photographed locations always can be re-visited because of light, time of year and equipment used. I like this one. Best Amida
Superb shot, Gregory and absolutely knock-out at full size. What a delight to find the lighthouse pop up on the far bluff. I love the angle you've taken this at/from - gives a terrific sense of perspective and depth and the contrasting colours really make this image zing. Delightful!
gregory, i've been there, you did a fabulous job of capturing this wonderful scene. we drove from golds beach to eugene once. i stopped and photographed all the beautiful lighthouses. jen
Wow. Unbelievable color and lighting. Those ocean waves catch the light wonderfully. The coloring of the beach sand as it disappears into the trees is superb. That small patch of light colored beach really adds adds color variety. This photo is as professionally done as it can be. Magnificent. A keeper and a ten.
