Clever concoction and oh, so creative! Your prose is just as engaging as this image. I bet that beastly insect has quite a bite! Good luck in the contest... this one will truly stand out :).

Oh, this is clever :) Such an enchanting creature - The poetry is finely done - did you make it up? I'm amazed at all the talent that comes out on this site. Your imagination was going wild, making up this adorable creature. And what a 'twinkle toes' it is - love those dainty ballet feet. And butterfly wings to fly on - with unicorn horns for a magical moment. Oh, the background trees are lovely and that super shining star. Great title for this image. Very good job, Greg :))

Thanks again folks, and yes, the poem's mine. Wanted to express in verse and image the notion that the dreamer and their dream are seperate entities yet remain one and the same. That our brains can create a universe; allow us to experience that universe as though for the first time; and then let us examine our place in that universe is amazing and somewhat paradoxical. Whatever they are, and whatever their meaning, if any, they rarely fail to provoke us.
