Nice shot illustrating growth rings. Two suggestions: consider cloning out the bright spot in the upper left (as it could tend to draw the viewer's eye away from the main subject), and (if the original shot will allow it), raise everything so the central spot in the tree is further above the bottom of a computer monitor, so it isn't obscured by the toolbar in Windows.

You have a great shot here. What a great idea. I really like the palette of colors here, & the texture of the tree bark. also the rings, that tells the age of the tree.But it is the tree sap that brings it all to life. NICE!!________ALLEE:)
