Not only is it beautifully rendered, but it's quite an elegant mate (albeit one requiring a little help from black). My only criticism is that it's too dark, but I can fix that myself.
Very Nice... Did you use Lathe on the rook and then Boolean out the battlement notches? Cos i couldnt get a very nice battlement polygon... I guess I didn't spend enough time. Hey, thanks for the credit! Very Clever, i was thinking about doing the sheppard move like that, but i guess you beat me to it. Kudos!
love the pic! and i like the way u used 2 pawns to mate.
one problem though - theres too much stars in the background! it makes the pic look alittle grainy and not as clear (hey, someones gotta give some constructive critisism).
this is nice. very clear, very nice colors, and very neat angle. sadly, I had to sit here for 3 minutes trying to remember why that's checkmate, but I did manage to figure it out! I'm deffinitely not a chess player, but I'm hanging on to this one for sure.
AWSOME PICTURE!!!
but.... i'm a chess player... a chess freak in fact x-D
and i would just like to point out that that is NOT checkmate... :-O
WHY? because on a ches board the upper left square is suposed to be white(same for both players) in this picture the upper right square is white so the board must be rotated. meaning that the two pawns are going either left or right, either way it's not mate. :-P
other than that it's awsome!!!! so awsome that even to it isn't mate it still has a place on my desktop. ^^
