Last month, there was an amazing sunset near my home in Leicestershire (UK). I rushed to get the camera and pretty well missed it! At the tail end, I managed to scamble into a farmer's field and take this shot of the end of season Hay Bales, ready for collection. I know the horizon is not perfectly level....but that was because the field itself wasn't level! Tech: Minolta 7D (ISO100) F22 2seconds, no filter, minimal manip.

I am so sorry you did not manage to get right in time. Don't worry. I think you should be proud of this shot. The hay bale in the foreground is so dominant.

Beautiful shot I can almost smell the hay. No buildings or distractions along the horizon and a lovely pattern of lines. Can't fault the sky either, its as gorgeous and expansive as the ground.

Very peaceful, like I have said many times before England is a truly
beautiful country and I hope to go there someday. :D

I like the great sense of depth in this photograph. Nice clarity as well - even at 1600 I can't see any noise.
