if you crop you could give it a more dramatic feel. i would crop closer on the left as well as some of the foreground and the sky (maybe 1/2 the beach and 1/4 of the sky). you really captured the power of the sea in this though. makes me want to be there and take it all in and be amazed. thank you for sharing.

I actually think the composition is fine the way it is, you've captured a fabulous scene. It is actually called the Tasman Sea though or as Aussies refer to it, "The Ditch" (across the ditch they pronounce it "The Dutch" :) Bad jokes about Kiwi accents aside, nice work here.

Yes, I like the expanse... Gotta' love surf pics; must be a bit chilly -- everyone's donning jackets. Good post.
