They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If that is true, I believe the beauty of this picture lies in the purity of the "whiteness" of the lily, itself. The rest of the shot is, to me, simply a supporting cast to this central figure, this exquisite flower.

I keep looking for one of Jan's Coi fish in your image.
love the composition. Resolution a little off on the lilly
pads which I quite don't understand as the bud is almost as
sharp as the flower. Very nice.

Nice one Elizabeth. Love the rich green tones and the contrast between the pur white and the dark water. Well done once again.

I have a little difficult to focus my eyes on the flower bud or the flower. But it is my humble opinion. But I like this picture anyway. Good job Elizabeth.

I was going to say all you needed was a frog but I see he arrived just above me. Great shot Elizabeth. Now I will be expecting to see the sun rise on this pond. :) Good post.

Elizabeth your work improves with each shot. I have rarely seen such a crisp clear shot. The colors are perfect as is the clarity.

A nicely divergent tonal quality to this Elizabeth, almost a melancholy quality to the image.

I really like the smoothness of the water in this shot. A super composition too. I had an ornamental pond back in the 90's, and this reminds me of it. Very nice picture, Elizabeth.

Writers edit: I just saw that I said that on your other lily picture. Duja Vu all over again. LOL.

It's like the water lily, the bud and the leaves are laying on a satin sheet Elizabeth. Thanks for this wonderful image.
