I found four Little Blue Herons in a swampy lake. Drive by shooting again. They seem to tolerate me more in the truck.

This is a really nice capture. He is so blue, so I guess he is a young one. Beautiful rippling water and reflections.

Love this great bird post. Could it be possible to Photoshop the water a little less dark? I think we can enjoy the bird more and its great colors. Ofcourse I do enjoy now my friend! Mich

What lovely colors on the heron. I have never really been this close to one to know that, but he looks really fine sitting there beside the lovely reflections in the water.

I love the blue heron. I wish I would see more of them up here. This one actually has more blue than a lot of the ones I see here. Very pretty bird, and shot, Elizabeth.

I used to see these guys alot when I lived in Cicero N.Y. near the Heron Marsh. Wonder why it was called that. Nice shot Liz. My truck would probably scare them away. :)
